Martin Weiss

Founding Attorney
Martin Weiss was the founding attorney for Weiss & Stamper having started the firm in 1992 when he opened this location at 133 School Street, Danielson, Connecticut.  Attorney Weiss practiced for over thirty years serving the residents of Windham County.   Attorney Weiss has recently retired from the practice of law but remains a good friend and trusted advisor to our firm and our attorneys.  When I first joined this firm over twenty years ago, I was impressed with his knowledge and his ability to help guide me throughout the years.  I know as we move forward he will continue to be there to help guide us through this transition.

Attorney Weiss now has the time and luxury to enjoy his hobbies including gardening, cooking and music.  He prefers to bake homemade bread, preparing batches of fresh Italian gravy and homemade pasta for his wife, neighbors and friends with all of his spare time. Along with being a philanthropist, former youth coach, and soccer and hockey referee, he is also a musician and is interested in motorcycles and vintage cars.

I am also sure that we will also see him flying overhead on sunny days as he is an avid pilot and the former President of the Lawyer Pilots Bar Association. He has also been known to use his private airplane to fly rescue dogs.

It is with great sadness and pleasure that I wish Attorney Martin Weiss great happiness and success in his Retirement as he has had in his professional career.  We would welcome him anytime he wishes to stop in and provide us some of his advise, humor and baked goods.
