Having accepted his Connecticut Bar admission, Attorney Martin Weiss has been practicing law for over thirty years. He graduated from Holy Cross College in Worcester, MA. He was a member of the Navy ROTC Corps and also played hockey and soccer.
He was also honored with a coveted clerkship serving Superior Court Judge Arthur Spada in Hartford, CT after he got his law degree with honors at Western New England School of Law. He also has experience in working as Deputy Sheriff in the Hampton County Sheriff's department. He started practicing law in Danielson upon graduating from law school.
Attorney Weiss can be frequently spotted flying overhead on sunny weekends as he is an avid pilot and the former President of the Lawyer Pilots Bar Association. He has also been known to use his private airplane to fly rescue dogs. He and his wife have two mutts, Piper and Ringo, along with a 21-year old cat, DK.
He prefers to bake homemade bread, preparing batches of fresh Italian gravy and homemade pasta for neighbors and friends in his spare time. Along with being a philanthropist, former youth coach, and soccer and hockey referee, he is also a musician and is interested in motorcycles and vintage cars.
He is a young attorney mentor and a renowned political adviser on both local and state levels to many politicians. Having been a visiting speaker and lecturer at numerous legal seminars and law schools, he has also co-counseled multiple cases to settlement or verdict with a practical and realistic style that succeeded in obtaining millions of dollars for clients and their families. He resides in Woodstock, CT.
