Jayme Stamper

Jayme Stamper graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 2000 and attended the University of Hartford, Hartford College for Women for her undergraduate degree in Paralegal Studies. While attending college and law school, Jayme worked as a paralegal for a large law firm in Hartford. After obtaining her license to practice law in May 2000, she continued to work as an associate attorney in Hartford where she gained considerable experience handling matters involving land use issues, planning, and zoning issues, personal injury, insurance defense and civil litigation. 

Before becoming an attorney, Jayme Stamper worked for Kaman Aerospace, where she worked as a machine operator in manufacturing airplanes and helicopter parts. She is aware that accidents occur at work and she uses her knowledge of the laws to help individuals who get hurt at work to obtain the necessary medical treatment and financial benefits they are entitled to. 

Attorney Stamper’s goal was to offer her experience and assistance in Eastern Connecticut where she grew up. She was quite pleased when she was given that opportunity by Attorney Weiss in 2003. 

Jayme Stamper has lived in eastern Connecticut for the majority of her life and currently resides in Sterling with her best friend and husband, Michael Stamper. She enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren whenever possible. She is an avid reader, enjoys camping, and is currently learning how to quilt. 

The courts have appointed Attorney Stamper to represent children either as their guardian ad litem or attorney for the minor child. Attorney Stamper also volunteers her time as a Special Master for the divorce mediation program for the Judicial District of Windham. 

Attorney Stamper shows great enthusiasm while working with her clients, and ensures she is available to them when they have questions or concerns. She attempts to resolve her clients' legal issues in a timely and cost-effective manner as legal situations can be stressful for the clients, their families, and their financial situation.
